Interests

I have many interests and hobbies outside of research, teaching and traveling. I am not only a physicist, but also a Martial Artist. I love playing musical instruments, fixing and modifying my car, cooking up dishes from around the world, and when given some free time I love playing video games. It's impossible to keep up with all my interests but I try my best!

Learning

My goal as a life long learning is to be as well rounded as possible. I often watch university lectures, stay informed with international news, learn history of other countries, follow science channels, and study a lot of geo politics. As a human being, we are finite and therefore always ignorant, so lets all keep learning!

My Honda SI

I have been into Honda since getting having my 2007 Honda Civic SI for nearly 17 years now. I love working on my car and repairing everything that breaks. I eventually want to build and tune the motor to maximize performance. I recently bought a 2015 Honda CR-V for the family, that is fun to work on too!

Cooking

I absolutely love to cook and have been doing so since I was 8 years old. I've learned some of my mother's traditional Puerto Rican dishes. In the past few years, I've expanded my menu to include dishes from other countries like Hot Pot or Cochinita.

Video Games

When I need a mental break from work and everything else, I play video games or travel virtual worlds. I have tend to play on my quest 3 andPC these days, and I enjoy playing action games and RPGs. Feel free to add me!

Martial Arts

I began studying Wing Chun in 2011. I had the privilege of training under Sifu Robinson from 2011 to 2015 before he passed away. I am writing a book on the Physics of Wing Chun, which I hope to publish sometime soon!

Playing Music

My father gave me a drum set when I was 3 years old and I have played drums since. Later on I learned alto saxophone in middle school. I'm a bit rusty these days, but I love to jam when I get the chance.
